Customizable Bicycle Brake Cable Kit

Build your perfect brake cable kit for your specific bike. Note some options cost additional (as noted when you choose each option).

The following is included:

7' of lined 5mm brake cable housing - add additional feet below for an additional cost per foot.

4 nickel plated brass (rustproof) 5mm ferrules - if you choose the ACS rotor brake inner cable option, you will receive 6 of these ferrules.

2 brake inner cables - these 4 choices are available:

Most popular option: Both cables 1.5mm thick X 67" long galvanized steel braided inner cable with barrel style knarps for BMX or MTB levers.
Upgraded option: Both cables 1.5mm thick X 67" long STAINLESS STEEL braided inner cable with barrel style knarps for BMX or MTB levers.
ACS rotor freestyle option: First cable (for the front brake) 1.5mm thick X 67" long cable with barrel style knarp for BMX or MTB levers. Second cable (for the rear brake) is 1.5mm thick X 120" long with a road bike knarp on one end and a BMX/MTB knarp on the other. Measure your bike carefully, then cut it in two pieces, with the BMX knarp end going from your lever to the single cable ACS rotor and the road bike knarp piece to go from the ACS rotor to your rear brake caliper. Both cables are galvanized steel braided cable. When you choose this option, you'll also automatically get 2 extra ferrules and 1 extra end tip crimp.
Road bike option: Road bike drop bar levers use a different knarp than BMX/MTB levers. This option will give you two 1.5mm X 120" galvanized cables with road bike knarp on one end of each and BMX/MTB on the other. Because these cables are twice as long as a regular brake cable, if you cut them exactly in half, you'll have a pair of road bike cables and a pair of BMX/MTB cables. If you have no idea what cables you might need, get this option and you'll be set for most any brake cable scenario.

2 brake lever end buttons (for non-threaded brake levers such as MX122, Tech 2, Tech 3, Tech 4 and Tech 6) - choice of colors.

2 brake cable end tip/crimps - choice of colors. If you choose the ACS rotor brake inner cable option, you will receive 3 of these end tips.

NOTE: All of these brake cable options assumes you are NOT running a gyro (a rotor has a single cable in and a single cable out - a gyro on the other hand uses special cables for the two cables that go in and the two cables that come out of the gyro.)
