Brake pivot bolt kit for OG Dia-Compe Nippon 48mm (for front) - SILVER

Reproduction titanium bolt/nut kit for original Japanese made 883 (stamped Nippon on the front of one of the arms) brakes from Dia-Compe.

• Color: SILVER
• Material: Grade 5 (6AL-4V) Titanium - never worry about rust or corrosion like on the original chromed steel bolts!
• Size: 48mm from jam nut to end of bolt This is a common size for old school forks. Newer (retro) forks may be too thick to use this bolt (MEASURE FIRST).
• Threading: M6 x 1.0 (This is the threading of the very end of the bolt. This is a common size nylock nut that can be sourced anywhere.)
• Kit includes: 1 pivot bolt, 1 spring mount nut, 1 jam nut (as shown in the photo).

NOTE: These bolts will NOT work on newer 883's that are NOT stamped Nippon. The newer 883's have a 6mm hole for the pivot bolt while original 883's have a 7mm hole. These titanium replacement bolts are 7mm where they go through the caliper arms. If you want to use these on a newer 883 you will need to drill a 1mm larger hole in both caliper arms as well as through the plastic friction washer and metal friction washers.
